Aussie Dealer Online Store

 

Hi and welcome to my online store. My name is Graham, aka Aussie Dealer (not drug dealer!) and I live in the Perth foothills.

When people buy online, they usually go first to eBay, then maybe Facebook Marketplace. Sellers who run their own online stores usually use a hosted platform such as Shopify, Squarespace, etc.

For the store owner, using those types of systems not only involves crippling fees, but their account can be shut down at any time and often for no sensible reason.

The alternative is to host my own store software, on my own domain name and not be answerable to anyone except myself, which is what I have done. Not only does this give me no ongoing fees, which means cheaper prices for you, but it allows a true one-on-one relationship between me and you.

The main drawback is people have no idea the store exists! So I have to spend more time promoting it, so buyers know how to find it. Like most things in life, there are no perfect solutions.

How it Works

I have designed the store to be as user-friendly as possible. You don’t need to sign up for an account and you can pay by credit or debit card. Items are sent via Australia Post with tracking and usually come with free shipping.

You simply click on the Shop link in the menu above, find an item, follow the prompts and pay using PayPal. You don’t need an account with them, you can choose to checkout as a guest and pay using your card. I never see your card details.

The order details are then sent to both you and to me and I will email you the tracking number within two business days. You can reply to the emails you get if you have any questions.

You then have 14 days from the time Australia Post advises me of delivery, to contact me in case something is wrong with the item.

What About Non-Australians

As the banner says, I only sell to buyers who live in Australia. Unfortunately, PayPal will allow you to choose any country it serves. If an order comes through from outside Australia, I will just instantly refund it.

Put simply, purchases from outside Australia will not be accepted and merely wastes your time and causes you unnecessary billing and refunds.

Remember, this is a family owned store, not a multi-national conglomerate. There is no such thing as a stupid question and I want my customers to feel as comfortable as possible using the store.
