Description
This pint sized radio can receive both DAB/DAB+ and FM Stereo. It can also retransmit the current DAB station via FM to another radio that cannot receive DAB stations.
You can store 10 of your favourite stations for each mode, making 20 all up. The audio is loud and very good quality, especially when listening to DAB stations. It does come with earbuds, but more expensive ones or a headset you already own will really give the audio quality justice. Note that there is no builtin speaker.
Small enough to put in your shirt pocket or hang around your neck with the included lanyard, it is truly a portable radio that packs a punch. The headset cable acts as the antenna, so there is no metal one to extend, snap off or get in the way.
The built-in rechargeable 500mAh lithium battery will give you hours of listening time and the blue backlit LCD display is easy to read. It is lightweight but ruggedly built. There are no protruding parts to snap off or get damaged. However, it is not waterproof, so be careful to keep it covered if it’s raining. You should get years of use from this device.
