Qualcomm 3.0 4-Port Car Charger

Description
This charger can charge four devices at once at a maximum of 7A. There are 3 types of ports:
- #1 (Orange) QC 3.0 for compatible devices
- #2 & #3 (Blue) for Android devices
- #4 (Blue) for iOS devices
Port 1 senses devices that are compatible with fast charging and will charge up to 4 times faster than a standard charger. It will start charging at 12V/1.7A, then drop to 9V/1.8A and finally 5V/3.5A as charging nears completion. The port constantly communicates with the device to determine how much voltage and current to deliver.
Ports 2 & 3 are for Android devices. To signal an Android device that it can fast-charge, these ports have their two internal USB data lines shorted (connected) together. When an Android device detects this short, it knows it is connected to a dedicated charger rather than a computer data port, allowing it to safely ramp up its intake current.
Port 4 is for iOS devices. Apple devices do not look for shorted data lines. Instead, iOS devices require specific, precise voltages (usually 2.0V or 2.7V) applied directly to the data lines. The iOS port features internal resistors that create this exact voltage signature, signaling to an iPhone or iPad that it can safely pull its maximum speed.
All four ports protect your device from over-current and over voltage charging. The charger also protects itself from over temperature situations.
All four ports are also backwards compatible with QC 2.0 and QC 1.0 and will simply supply 5V/3.5A to devices that they sense do not support fast charging.
